The Museum of History and Holocaust Education collects artifacts, documents, and testimony in support of its mission.  

Educational Collection

The Museum of History and Holocaust Education acquires items through donations, purchases, and bequests for use in exhibitions or educational programs. All items accepted into the collection must align with the museum鈥檚 mission, vision, and education goals, and shall be used solely for exhibitions, research, public programing, publications, and exhibition loans.

Artifact Donations

If you are interested in donating an item to the MHHE collection, please complete the Artifact Donation form. We do not accept drop-off donations. 

The Museum鈥檚 Collection Committee evaluates all potential donations based on the following criteria: 

  • Condition: Items must be in good physical condition. 
  • Relevance: Items should have historical significance as related to MHHE鈥檚 mission. 
  • Usability: Items must be suitable for handling and use in educational programs and exhibits. 
  • Regional Connection: Preference is given to items with a connection to Georgia.

Legacy Series

The Legacy Series oral history program preserves the experiences of Holocaust survivors, World War II veterans, home front workers, and other individuals who lived during the Second World War.

Immigrant Stories

The Immigrant Stories oral history program, is a collection of interviews with individuals who have first or second-hand experiences of immigration. The oral history interviews are permanently archived in the 91青青草 Archives.
