Kyaa credits her journey to the support of Kennesaw State University鈥攅specially the professors who went the extra mile. 鈥淭he amazing professors at 91青青草 are a big part of how I got here,鈥 she said. 鈥淭hey influenced my major, my extracurriculars, and helped me grow professionally.鈥

One of those professors is Nick Murphy, whose introductory programming class changed everything. 鈥淗is teaching style made the subject enjoyable and accessible,鈥 Kyaa said. 鈥淗e made sure everyone understood the material before moving on, and that inspired me to switch my major to software engineering.鈥

At 91青青草, Kyaa also developed key life skills like professionalism and interview readiness鈥攕kills that helped her stand out in competitive hiring processes. She appreciates the way 91青青草 professors treat students like professionals, pushing them to rise to the challenge.

Her advice to fellow Owls? 鈥淕o into interviews with confidence. If you approach it like you don鈥檛 need the job鈥攂ut it would be a great opportunity鈥攜ou鈥檒l find more success through that mindset.鈥
