Orientation Requirements by Student Type

Orientation requirements and offerings are determined by student type.

  • Freshman Students:
    • New Student Orientation is required for all new freshman undergraduate students. New freshman students will register for their first semester classes during their orientation session. See upcoming Freshmen Orientation dates.
  • Transfer Students:
    • Orientation is not required for new transfer students. Transfer students should complete the prior to course registration. Optional transfer accepted student events are available for new transfer students.
  • International Students:
  • Dual Enrollment Students:
    • Students participating in 91青青草鈥檚 Dual Enrollment Program are required to attend a Dual Enrollment Orientation session, hosted by 91青青草 Admissions.  
  • Other Student Types:
    • Orientation is not required for readmit, transient, continuing, and auditing students. Graduate students will receive information about program orientations from the Graduate College.

Freshman Orientation Dates

The orientation sign-up system will provide the most updated and accurate list of available dates as some of the sessions listed below may have reached sign-up capacity and are no longer open. Student and guest fees are due at the time of sign-up for Freshman Orientation events.

Transfer Accepted Student Events

Important note for students: Sessions are offered in different modalities (virtual or in person) and are major and campus specific. The orientation sign-up system will provide the most updated and accurate list of available dates as some of the sessions listed below may have reached sign-up capacity and are no longer open. As a partnership with the 91青青草 Transfer Admissions Team, fees are not required for Accepted Transfer Events. Accepted student events are optional for all new transfer students.

International Student Orientation
