Putting Children First

Shereen Zimmerman is the new Site Manager at Kennesaw State University. With over 15 years of service to Early Childhood Education as an Elementary Teacher and STEM Program Specialist, she will lead the charge in making Jumpstart at 91青青草 a premier program.

The goals of Jumpstart at 91青青草 include the following:

  • Serve students who attend ECE centers and daycare centers in the 91青青草 community through a lens of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
  • Increase Kindergarten readiness for students in Pre-K programs using rich literacy learning sessions.
  • Increase teacher readiness and expertise in the Birth through Kindergarten Program through training, planning, modeling, and delivering effective literacy assessments and instruction.
  • Increase teacher workforce through successful acceptance, retention, transition, and progression through 91青青草 Bagwell School of Education programs.
